Emo is a collective music genre that started in the mid 80's. All it is is emotional lyrics with thrash punk melodies. You can also use these newer Emo Artists: Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, The Used. All of these bands are considered Emo, even though some of them might say otherwise.
