Is the coloring dye: Yellow 5 Lake, bad?!?!?

Alright so I love candy and stuff, and Skittles rock, but everyone tells me lots of stuff about the dye the use for yellow Skittles and other candies (Yellow 5 Lake), I even heard it shrinks testicles? Now I don't think that it actually shrinks testicles, I just don't really know if it is bad for me, can someone explain?
