Did anybody else see a USAF transport jet near JFK on Saturday (9/11)?

I'm guessing that this was related to 9/11 observances. I was walking with my son around 11am and just managed to see the backside of some 4-engibed jet with high-wings and a T-tail. From what little I know of military jets, and the few moments I had to see it, it could have been a Galaxy, a Star Lifter or a C-17. Did anybody else see it?
