Is it possible that my baby cries just to cry...?

Some of you mommies are going to think that this is absolutely absurd.. but hear me out.. and then you can bash me. :) I have heard over and over again from people on here that babies always cry for a reason.. and to never let them cry.. but I think my kiddo may be an exception. My daughter was born with allergies to milk and soy (not born with.. but developed soon after birth.) This is not speculation because she was intolerant of formulas and milk.. I actually had her tested by an allergist. I was and still am allergic to both as well. She also had reflux... projectile throw-up... couldn't lay flat without gagging.. etc. Obviously.. she was miserable for about 7 weeks until we got everything figured out and under control. During this time... she cried almost constantly so I became very aware of her cries. I knew when she was in pain.. I knew when she was hungry... I knew when she had a wet diaper.. etc. She had very distinguished cries. We finally got her on a formula that she could tolerate and she is taking Prevacid for her reflux. She seems soooo much better. The painful crying has stopped almost completely since making these changes. She still whines ALL OF THE TIME though. I say whine because I don't know what else to call it. It is a light cry... no tears... just noise and a red face. :) She isn't in pain.. she isn't hungry... she isn't wet.. etc... she isn't overly tired. She isn't cold, hot, or sick. She lets me know when any of these other things are the problem. I have tried swaddling, not swaddling, rocking, walking and bouncing, vibrating chair, swing, everything! Some of these things she does enjoy... just not when she is doing her whine. In other words, nothing soothes this whine of hers. I am beginning to think that since she cried constantly for the first 7 weeks of her life because of pain that she grew used to it and now she uses it to soothe or entertain herself. I know that sounds crazy but for instance.. I try to rock her to sleep and she SCREAMS. I try to put her in her swing to put herself to sleep and she SCREAMS. I lay her in her crib (which she loves to sleep in...) and she cries (her light cry) for about 3 minutes and then she is out for the night. I try to comfort her but she doesn't want it. I am running around in circles here with my explanations. Is there anything I am not thinking of...? Or is it possible that she uses crying to soothe herself (to sleep.. or when she is bored...) and she isn't really upset at all...? I don't want for her to be upset.. I am not a fan of CIO at all. I want my baby to feel comforted all of the time. She doesn't want comfort though... she wants to cry.. HELP!! I feel like I am doing something wrong. Also.. she is healthy.. sleeps well.. eats well.. and smiles very regularly at me (sometimes while crying). Sorry so long but I wanted to let you guys know what all was going on before trying to help...

It's alright but not worthy of winning a contest. Your lines don't flow naturally in several places. For instance " 'Cause I prefer you/ Than a thousand pleasant dreams" Change "Than" to "To" and it reads a bit better. The poem jumps from We to I inexplicably which is okay but confusing. " 'Cause you are the best/ Of all the days that came" doesn't make any sense. Also, "If I'm blind/ Let me know" is an unnecessary stretch. It conveys the message, as do other lines, that the most important thing in your poem is to fit in a rhyme. Don't hold yourself to this limitation. Write a poem to convey a message or feeling. If rhyming happens naturally in that context, Outstanding. If not, your readers would rather read something meaningful than a forced rhyme. Keep writing!

So i've known this guy for about...3 going on 4 yrs, im a senior he's a junior we've played football together and I never really had any major suspicion of him being anything other than straight other than the occasionally football lockeroom playing around.Well I ended up having him in my student advisory board and that's were the suspicion started. He would now and again have a thing about touching...now there is a big difference between lockeroom touching (jokingly haring etc.) and this touching (soft, a caress) well he would do it and i wouldn't think anything of it mostly cause i was always so wrapped up in my ignments and graduation. now that im done for the year i've noticed more and thought i'd see what was up with it...so one day late after school me him and another member were on the couch watching tv n the clroom i had on cargo shorts and being 6'8" they rode up when i sat down to between a fourth and half of my thigh and he would randomly put his hand on it like nothing and leave it there then take it off suddenly and get squirmish, then he did again and just left it for a long time a good 2-3 minutes and would squeeze and shake his hand...now i could see if he was playing like a straight playing but he wouldnt do it in that way, right...so come monday me him his "brother" the advisor and someone else were in the asb office and he would squeeze my leg, rub my shoulder and chest. We all would make jokes about "stuff' and rather than denial he would blush...toaday we had a blood drive and wow the same touching just more then he asked me to hold his hand while he gave blood he got nervous now and then and would let go but then stick it back at me amist others who were with us...before we closed i gave blood and made a "joke" about him not being there for me and not a true friend and i was mad at him cause he was gonna hold this girls hand( who was freaking out, opps) he was lyk i'll hold both of yours, but i said no i gave you all of me it's all or nothing lol and turned away he got hurt and grab me like a hug and tried well he did rub the side of my face and put his head on my shoulder but i wasnt having it jk lol when the girl went i said i got you i know where the lines have been drawn and he got hurt and went my turn came up and his "brother came over and was joking with me and wat not. he playfully grabbed my hand and was like it's okay and what not then HE came and i was like your too late see someone has filled your spot and he got sad but then told the his bud let me hold his hand i was supposed o but got denied and lol got a sad face again, secondds later he got my hand and HELD it. I would like to start breeding budgies. I have already started breeding my Zebra finches a while back and they are great. I have a bonded pair of budgies and I would like to breed them next fall (the female will be over a year old by then, the male will be 4). If k/d has 3.5 grams and kibbles and bits has 8grams of protein how can 4.5 more grams be harmful. Especially when they are on epaktin and azadoyl for protein and phosphate binders. I am currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado and don't like it here because this town is infested with boatloads of stuck up women who are transplants from snooty/stuck up/I'm better than you/too good to talk to you Orange county California. This gal WAS NOT from stuck up so-cal and was from no less than Baltimore, MD. Go figure it would be a nice, friendly, and socialable person from the east who would actually want to talk to someone new and perhaps expand their social circle. Anyway, I am contemplating applying to UT-Austin, but do not want to move to another Colorado Springs, Colorado which is filled with a bunch of stuck up female transplants from southern California. If Texas has already been ruined by unfriendly people from SoCal then I will gladly move my happy a** back to Nashville or Raleigh where WE friendly southerners STILL outnumber these anti-social southern California people by a long shot. He claimed that she went on vacation and he didn't know. I still haven't met her yet to this day and he dosen't bring it up. It's simply swept under the rug. My husband works at night mainly and sometimes days. He claims that the friend is an old lady (mother-figure) at work who goes around giving hugs and nicknames. Thats still inappropriate for a married man. She hasn't been calling because he knows that I am able to see it through phone records; however, when he came home from work the other day there was a text from her. She had text him "Good morning" and provided him with her work extentsion so he could call from worklines. I truly believe they have never stopped commumicating. He ereased his texts before he gets home so that all that is available are texts from me or guy friends. I believe this day he simply forgot. Also, this woman name and number is not progammed in his phone. So to ensure that he knew that I saw the text, I stored her cell number, and work number into the phone under the name "Pooh Bear" so the next time she calls or texts he will know that I am aware, which I'm sure has already happened and he's not coming forward. Both of their actions makes it impossible for me to beleive that they are "just friends" and that she is an old lady. He says he didn't come forward with it in the begining because of how I may react. Proabably no different from the way he would if the shoe was on the other foot. Should I be alarmed? Arrested for DUI in Miami-Dade...options available for a program or plead not guilty?

I was arrested for a DUI on Jan 21....I was not intoxicated but I was out with my friends...I had just got out of the hospital 2.5 months prior with an unknown infection in my ankles that was taken care of with a week stay in the hospital and a slew of antibiotics and other pills...I currently have to take a pill every night for a possibly related medical condition...I was driving my friend's car as they were questionable and I knew I was not. So when I got pulled over I ped the onsite sobriety (he did the eye test twice...i have exceptional peripheral vision...ive been an athlete since I can remember) and there were 4 witnesses in the car (two of them live nearby and would probably attend the trial)...after the second eye test i was placed in handcuffs and taken to the police department...i sat there for awhile and then was brought and asked the do the breathalyzer...i politely declined...I have a degree in chemistry and i remember from college (only a few years ago) we "tricked" a breathalyzer into a false reading fairly easily...I knew I was on some medication many of which are coated in polyvinyl alcohol...I was unsure if any of the chemicals in the medication or the coating would cause any sort of reading so I refused as to not falsely incriminate myself...now, 6 months later, i'm faced with either sending this to trial or accepting the program...ive already dished out about 2k on an attorney (who has yet to even meet with the witnesses and its becoming rather difficult to speak with him) and the thought of the program and the additional 2-3k that it would cost on top of the cles, interlock device etc etc is a little daunting...now before any of you jump on my case saying im a drunk/murder or anything of the sort realize you are then subject to being called a stereotyping, severely judgmental person....i'm a 26 yr old male that has been living on my own and taking care of myself since 18...i have been actually drunk less times than i can count on my hand...i have 2 degrees in biochemistry and one in economics went to medical school for a year and i have a career on top of my own NFP coaching youth volleyball....it is an embarring thing to talk to your kids about but i told them the absolute truth as its what they deserve and warned them of the fallacies of our legal/judicial system...im being told from a variety of sources to go with the program and not risk it...but it seems to not be fair nor just for me to dish out nearly 6k in money i dont really have to prove my innocence (we all know innocent until proven guilty is a thing of the past)....what would any of you suggest? any advice would be greatly appreciated....if you're seeking a target for a lecture please seek another question-er...not to be rude but this has been enough on its own without people accusing me of being a criminal...

i used to have this re-occuring dream where i would be walking through my house and then all of this sudden i would come to this huge hole lined with steel that appeared to be a bottomless pit. a really deep loud noise would be emmitted from it and i would always look down and feel frightened of it, im not sure why but it scared the crap out of me. in a few of the dreams this guy with crazy hair would be standing on the ledge next to me just looking at me, once i think he told me to jump in, i didnt but a few times i ended up falling into the hole and just falling until i woke up. it hasnt happened in years but when i was around 10 it reoccured at least 4 times a maximum of maybe 15 times but could this mean anything?

Not that long ago the charge may have been slightly less or a little more than $100, and that would have including a coil wash in and out with filter change.

advice, intimacy problem maybe?

Whenever I am close to anyone intimately I immediately (when we start doing whatever) feel not turned on, even if i was in in anticipation. It's very frustrating, and so I usually just try to make it about them, because no matter how hard I try, I just can't feel anything for myself. Attention starved girl?

A girl that I work with is like my little sister. She’s married, very attractive and constantly being approached by guys that we work with and male clients. She says “I’m not doing anything to lead these guys on, I’m just being me”. Yet, she dresses seductively – mini skirts, skin tight clothes, , etc. – in a conservative business setting and the guys just go crazy for her. Females in the office roll their eyes at her, but she doesn't seem to notice or says they are jealous. She develops deep relationships with the guys that pursue her, constantly on instant messenger, email, text message, etc. with them and says they are her “friends”. About a year ago, she had an affair that ended badly. One of the other guys that was obsessed with her (not the one she had an affair with) found out about her affair. He started writing her anonymous notes calling her slut, tramp, etc. and threatening to tell her husband. Her manager at work saw one of the notes and had a talk with her because the notes were disturbing and he was concerned about her safety. The situation died down after a few months. She stopped briefly for a few months all the activity with other guy “friends”. Yet, now that threat is past and she’s right back to old ways. This is really hard to watch. I’ve talked to her about it numerous times but she just sticks to her story that she’s doing nothing wrong - can’t help it if guys stalk her or sticks to other story that they are just “friends”. Her husband is clueless as to what’s going on. What makes a girl like this tick? Is she just so starved for attention? I’m also thinking I need to drop the little sister relationship, distance myself and let the cards fall where they may.

Husband had an affair and I believe cheated with other women as well?

Before anyone tells me I'm dumb for trying to make it work, there are children involved that are at an age where a divorce would be hard to understand and hard to deal with. My question is whether or not therapy is a good idea. I don't know if I would prefer couples therapy or if I should just request he get therapy. The situation is complicated since the cheating was several years ago and he only just admitted to it. I believe he has been faithful for 2 years, but was unfaithful before that, and for a few years. He was abused as a child and I believe has some major issues that I didn't see in the beginning. On one side, he's a sweet guy... on the other side he has horrible self esteem (which I think he aided by getting multiple women to show their interest in him), has depression and anger issues. His mother will tell him that nothing happened when he was a child which only makes it worse. (and he's not making up the child abuse, his mother has mental issues which I've witnessed too many times and he has siblings that witnessed the abuse which was directed toward him only, since he was the stepchild) I'm willing to give it a shot, but I think he needs help. Do you think it is a reasonable request for me to tell him we can give it a try if he gets therapy? Also, if anyone else who has been in a cheating situation has any advice that would help... I'll always love him, but I hate him and can't see myself ever trusting him again. We discuss it privately and have never fought in front of the kids before. I would like to continue to handle this quietly, because they are happy children and as far as they know, mom and dad couldn't be happier. I also did not just find out, we discussed it for the first time several months ago, but I find that I'm not satisfied and I feel that the betrayal was much too deep to simply forget about. No body's fault. He is partying but may not be happy either. He can't accept you as his friend was rejected by you. I think his behavior is justifiable. You can have a matured conversation wit the guy who you like, tell him how you feel and why you said no to his friend. You can tell him that you could have said yes to his friend for time p but you didn't do that and that you didn't misuse anyone. Even after all this the chances are not too great but atleast he will think good things about you. And my stomach kills so much I have terrible bowel problems where I cant poo for days on end and it is pebbles. Even after enemas and laxatives and everything over the counter I have tried, they dont work and I still feel really really bad. I only go pee once a day and it stings like help and the flow is very weak and nothing barely. I have been to a million different specialist, different tests, and everything is negative and fine. None of them will give anything to relieve the pain. If I ever find an answer. I cant ever sleep, or barely get anything down to eat. And lay on the couch 24/7 feeling like labor cramps or getting shot all day everyday. And no dr has done anything. I have lived with this pain for awhile now and it is a living nightmare and just really cant take the pain anymore.
